John has spent his life in food and drink. Growing up on a small farm, milking cows and driving tractors from a very early age through to learning every step of the supply chain including:
Production, Processing, Distribution, NPD, Sales and Marketing
His knowledge and experience of the supply chain and in particular NPD, Marketing and Sales has grown from starting several food and drink companies from scratch devising production, processing and marketing. In some cases John was able to get products onto the shelves of retailers within a matter of months.
His experience includes working on projects for the Minister of Agriculture through being an expert witness in a high court case looking at sports drinks. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Marketing and chaired the Food, Drink and Agriculture Group for many years.
Kevin is a Dairy Industry expert with over 38 years experience working in the dairy sector. Beginning in farming Kevin has worked for or with most major dairy and food processors in the UK and Ireland, holding senior management roles dealing with all aspects of milk production and procurement from farm, sales to dairy companies and all aspects of milk distribution. He has a network of contacts within all aspects of the dairy business covering farms processors and hauliers.
He has been responsible for procurement for some of the largest sites as well as some of the most innovative products on the shelves of premium retailers including functional and specialist milks.
Kevin founded Milk Trading Solutions in 2012 a consultancy and dairy products trading business that operates solely within the dairy sector which today turns over several million each year.
Charlotte is a graduate of Wye College with a BSc in Agriculture.
She has been responsible for setting up the National Association of Farmers Markets through to commissioning research & development projects in livestock farming for government bodies.
Charlotte was also general manager for a successful start up that sold to premium retailers and online through the likes of Amazon and Notonthehighstreet. She has a wide range of experience in sales, marketing, project management and customer service.
Collectively the team has a wealth of experience in production, processing and marketing, an enviable contacts book and a real empathy for the needs of food and drink companies wherever they are in the supply chain.
